GuzziTech Group Buy on Calsci Windshields

I received my windshield yesterday; I must say I was impressed with the packaging of the windshield.

I am 6' tall, purchased the XL model and I have it adjusted 50% in height. Made the 72 mile trip to work this morning and I am riding in a quite pocket of air, no buffeting at all. It is also nice to see it did not affect the ride ability around SUV's and tractor trailers; the bike is still planted to the asphalt.

The windshield is expensive, even with the $20 discount, but it is well worth the $$, the quality, fit and finish is excellent. :cheer:

Has anyone tried one of these with the stock handguards? I'm wondering about interference at full lock.

I don't think it will be a problem, but I will let you know for sure when I get the bike back from MPH (recall work). I have a set of stock guards (a left and a right believe it or not!) waiting to go on.

Picts of my Stelviio w/ the Calsci screen are on the Calsci website.

I have the stock hand guards and they hit lock to lock with the XL shield. I do not remember if the large or medium shields are narrower. It will not create a problem for me though, I'll live with it because of the extra protection.:)

Mark: question. From the pictures, it seems you determined the vent location on the basis of GTL model Norges, i.e. with the motorised windshield. Those have the mechanism in a housing between the screen mounts, which is missing on the models with manual windshield adjustment. How crucial is the presence of that "box" filling up the space between dashboard and windshield?
