GuzziTech softbag supports

I posted these pictures up of the bag supports Todd fabricated up for me on my
1400 custom. I've used them once on a trip and they work great keeping the bags in place and from rubbing on the shock or bodywork.

Yes they are. Right now im using RKA bags that throw over and attach with straps to the muffler brackets in the front and a long strap holds the back of the bags firm looped over the rear fender. The bags are held tight against the brackets pictured and don't move around.

I'd love to see a few pics of the bags mounted if you ever get a chance please!

I still keep getting this California itch that I just feel that I am going to have to scratch sometime soon and I thought about soft luggage and I'm really curious now.

Thanks!

I will get a picture for you in the next couple days. Just getting ready to go on a trip.

What can you tell me about the auxiliary lights you have mounted. I know you have the MG mount bar. Who makes the lights? Did you have to add any relays or do anything else besides connecting wiring to get them to work?

I had Nelson Rigg throwovers on my Cali 1400 until C-Bows became available.

They were hard to keep clean in foul weather, despite the weather covers. Also a real pain to try and get under the seat with them installed.

Made the C-bows a no brainer choice.

These are Clearwater lights. They were on the bike when I bought it but I think it just uses the stock wiring set up because they can be turned off with the switch on left side of the steering head in front of the tank.

Yea they are kind of a pain. I may go the C Bows at some point if I keep the bike.

Thanks for the info. I think that might be the only way I could get a set of those lights (if it came on the bike when I bought it...). They are nice but the are a lot of $$$$.

Yea they are expensive. Probably wouldn't be a purchase of mine because of the cost
