I've been riding my 2013 V7 Stone since June of 2023 and I love it so much that it's all I ever want to do. Damn work and all other responsibilities, Oh, and the weather once in a while!
I've acquired heated gloves, in addition to the heated grips the bike came with from the previous owner, and other cold weather gear, so as long as it isn't below freezing temps, and there is not any ice or snow on the roads, I ride most days.
I've put over 4,200 miles on her, so far, and I haven't even take a very long ride yet, but I have many planned for the Spring and a several week ride planned with my cousin this Summer.

This Moto Guzzi has been the perfect first bike. I can't believe I waited so long to get off the back seat of a motorcycle and ride my own.

I've already gathered a lot of great info from the forum here, and I hope someday to be able to contribute, as well.

Thanks for having me.

Lorelai

Great choice on the bike. You’re right in the middle of a fantastic riding area. Welcome

Congratulations and Welcome!

You are the VERY FIRST woman I’ve ever met with your name, since I first heard it in 1975 on my Styx album! 😄

That’s awesome.

You hit the nail on the head this is a perfect rider only first bike.
Moderate, usable power, easy to ride and easy to park.
Wonderful choice.
I was looking to buy one years ago but since I do a lot of two up riding I decided against it.

Welcome to the forum. You have a great area for riding.
I have an AMAZING area to ride in and I am SO thankful!
I rode up one of our canyons yesterday, and as I gained elevation, there was snow on the ground in lots of places (not on the road), the river was running next to the road, it was sunny and the temperature was in the 50's, and it was another kind of gorgeous!

Have you ever been here?

Yes, for sure! Have you ever ridden here?

My cousin and I have a trip planned together this summer, and we plan to head west. I'm originally from Northern California (Humboldt County), and will be riding to Yosemite, through the redwoods, and along the coast. I can't wait!

Thanks, I actually love my name (and you are definitely not the first to mention the Styx song, lol), I was actually named Lori, which can't be shortened, and is very boring, so I lengthened it (legally) to Lorelai almost 10 years ago.

Yes! And I was blessed to just 'happen upon' this motorcycle, in a sort of unfortunate (for the previous owner) way, but in a VERY fortunate way for me. And he left the bike pretty much set for me, he took great care of it and added on a lot of great essentials. All I've had to buy is my riding gear, so far, though I'm about to replace the rear tire in a couple of weeks.

I have no plans to ride two-up, lol. So, yeah, this bike has been perfect for me. I can see myself acquiring another bike someday, but I can't imagine not having this one forever.

Fun! Congrats and welcome to the GT Forum & Guzzi Famiglia! Yes, work always gets in the way, well that and weather for you (sorry). Hope you'll add your info to our Registry linked below. I can steal one of your great photos above of you and the bike or you can add it again. Enjoy the site. Hope to see you here often! Cheers.
