Congrats and welcome. Your first Guzzi then? As John says above, the Tonti section is where you'll find most of your answers. Hope your next post is on our Registry linked below in that section. Hope to see you here often.Been running a 1989 Cali 111 for three years now, wish I'd bought a Guzzi years ago....
Yes it is our first Guzzi, bought in pieces as an abandoned project Xmas 2019...ran as a solo in 2020 then pulling a sidecar last two years....It is unfaired..Congrats and welcome. You may benifit with an older gear ratio rear drive from a 1000cc or 850cc bike. The lower gearing will make your clutch happier.Yes it is our first Guzzi, bought in pieces as an abandoned project Xmas 2019...ran as a solo in 2020 then pulling a sidecar last two years....It is unfaired..
I will have a look at the Registry and then have a good read of your Tonti section...
Cheers
I think you have a very valid point there John, I have just put a clutch in the bike last month as I could 'make' it slip if I tried ..Looking at the thickness of the plates I think it would have lasted many many more miles if running as a solo..You may benifit with an older gear ratio rear drive from a 1000cc or 850cc bike.
