anyone else disappointed in the final product? I have an Eldorado and ordered the Nevada bags with the c bow. The bags are great well made the brackets are very sturdy and able to be locked good stuff. The bags stick out way to far from the fender to me it looks bad also the bags tilt out in the front. The bags stick out so far that the brackets show I am thinking I will try to make something to cover the exposed brackets

I have the same set up but with the Buffalo bags and I've been thinking along the same lines. Because of the lock on the back of the bags and the rear shocks there doesn't seem to be much you can do to get them any closer. I've been thinking maybe a strip of leather to match the bags, over the top of the brackets could help but haven't got around to trying anything yet. I'd be interested if you can come up with something.

Also interested in what you come up with as thinking of getting the Cbow carrier and Buffalo big bags for my newly aquired eldorado.

A view from the top, not much you can do about mounting them closer mainly because of the shocks.
