Long Guzzi owner here. First Guzzi was an 850T, then an MK1 Lemans, and inherited my Dad’s 850T, El Dorado and Ambassador. I still have his 850T and Ambassador though both have sat for 30 years.

Have been riding a 2001 Aprilia Falco I bought new, but age is catching up and since I ride a 100 mile commute 4 days a week I’m looking at Guzzi’s again.

Contemplating a Stelvio for its seating and weight as I get blown around in the afternoon winds on the Falco. Stelvio Suspension looks great for the pothole filled roads around here.

Welcome!

The Stelvio NTX > Midyear 2012 production, is an excellent motorcycle. I own one.

Very comfortable, powerful, and handles outstanding.

I certainly have a hankering for a Stelvio. I think I want a 8 valve and the big tank. Seems like folks are struggling to sell them. No matter as I tend to keep bikes forever and buy them to suit me with resale not really a consideration.

The Stelvio is Guzzis best production effort to date IMO. All models are 8V, but the late 2012+ (2013 on is ideal, up to the massively refined 2017) models are roller lifters and big tanks. Scott above has a wonderful tutorial on it linked below. If you don't mind the heft, it’s a mile eating, sporty yet very comfy motorcycle. I love mine too. I owned both a 2009, then a 2013 which is still in my garage, and likely will never leave. Hope that helps. See you in the Stelvio section also linked below once you land one. HNY and best to you for the hunt!

Well, over the holidays I let two very nice Stelvios get by me. I snoozed and missed out. Now the whole country is frozen over or soaking wet by rain. Sigh.
