Excited to have the Lafranconi mufflers on my 1995 Cal 1100i. Replacing stockers along with crossover. What can I expect if I bolt them on and go? Concerned about fuel/air mixture issues.

'95 Cal uses a P8 computer. I would recommend a Power Commander III; https://www.guzzitech.com/store/product/power-commander-pciii/ - contact me direct email with any questions; Todd at GuzziTech.com
Thanks for the suggestion, Todd. If such pricey parts are indeed necessary, I will have to mothball these Lafranconi's and just change out the crossover for now. I guess you could call it a "gotta have it/impulse buy". Oops, did it again!!

On my 2009 California Vintage installation of crossover (Mistral H-pipe) created a lot of popping on deceleration. In addition my bike was really loud after installation of H-Pipe, previous owner removed the DB-Killers from the OEM Mistral pipes. The popping issue was solved when Todd remapped the ECU. As far as loud pipes are concern I ordered set of DB-killers from MG Cycle and will install them over this weekend but will have wait till spring with real testing since the weather in Toronto is not very good for bike riding :)

Hi Todd,
I read your reply to
P8 ECU and idle trim screw info
on the forum. I need help with my P-8 on my '95 Cal 1100i since I put the La Franconi's on and I believe you said you would re-map the EPROM. A short while ago you responded to my query on the forum with a suggestion that I buy the Power Commander III. I am hoping that a re-map would make it all good. Please help.

I suggest you contact Todd by direct e-mail for the eprom. todd<at>guzzitech.com. He is a pretty busy guy so it may take him awhile to get back to you.
