heya some of you may remember me. i got a burnt up breva in a trade and didnt know how to assmble it. i got it up and running but still need somewhere between 1200 to 2000 in parts to fix up.

well i ended up finding another breva 1100 only for 2600. just rode it down from washington a few days ago. heated grips, engine guards, additional leds under the main headlight, and now ive installed a garage opening switch.

pretty great. happy to have sold the v star for it. not sure what im going to do with the old one. thinking of swapping all the best parts off of it ( its forks are better condition than my new one etc) and then parting it out.

maybe ill keep restoring it.

Nice. Do look into suspension upgrades in the Store. They make a big difference in handling and ride quality. I've upgraded the suspension on my 1100 Breva and can't believe the difference from stock.

Congratulations! Now you have a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY. Do not waste it.

You have a fully working example of what should be what on your damaged one. Utilize your phone or digital camera, and take as many pictures of every aspect of your newer one so that you have a visual reference for all time.

With two in the hand like that, you should be able to make quick fast work of the restoration should you desire to continue to do so. It will be infinitely easier now.

Also, utilizing tons of digital pictures comparing the two, will make it much easier to answer any questions you may have.

Good Luck and I hope you truly enjoy your running version and succeed at getting your first one up to snuff. 👌👍🤞
