Does anyone have the ignition advance mapping data for a P8(Cali 1000i) computer?
I am looking for the data of TPS millivolts, advance degrees & rpm's.
It's for a project bike with Quota 1000 engine(44/37 valves) that I am converting to carbs. I know that California1000i had the same computer and I assume the same ignition map. I have been told that setting the TPS to full throttle will give me a useable ignition curve, but would like to be sure if that's the best solution(or setting the TPS at partial throttle opening) before I start re-jetting the carbs.
Another question that I asked before but the answers went missing when this site crashed: what is the best A/F ratio to shoot for when setting up the carbs?
