Peter, you are probably right. I bought my Breva when it was 7 years old. It had been serviced by a local dealer and later by an independent shop with much experience with the earlier Guzzis. That's when I slowly realized I was on my own as far as servicing was concerned. Nobody around here knew much about the Carc generation and the new fuel injection. That may be the case to this day. Italy is not good at sharing their info. This forum was helpful even before the Breva came into my life.
I have learned to look after myself, but it is nice to find a local source for parts, as cross border shipping can be brutal, especially on smaller orders. My swing arm bearings were inspected in Nov.(both bikes) and found wanting but passable till new parts come in.
