Hi folks,
I'm an Australian with a Suzuki VS1400 parked in Mestre / Venezia. Ok, its not a Guzzi, but it is a V twin with shaft drive. There is just something about that combination that attracts me. I'm returning soon to continue my travels.

Does anyone know of a mechanic nearby who can replace the clutch plates. I have all the spare parts, just need a hand to do the job.

Regards,
Mark.

I've found a mechanic, all set for 5th July. Then its off to the Dolomites, Stelvio Pass, Mandello del Lario, Switzerland and France. Check out the Tour de France on one of those mountain stages and return to Venezia a month later.

Regards,
Mark

Sounds great!
I drove the French alps, partially following the alp-part of the Tour, last year. Unforgettable, and absolutely calling for a da-capo! :woohoo:

Hi folks,

I'm back in Australia, safe and sound.

I can confidently recommend New Venezia Moto in Mestre for mechanical repairs, they done a top job on replacing the clutch plates and other bits and pieces. Thanks Steve.

I finally caught up with the Tour de France in Grenoble, just in time to see Cadel Evans ride the time trial. My wife knocked off this course marker just after Cadel passed by, could explain why the Schelks lost their way.

Cheers,
Mark.
