Isn't the other car (Mustang?) more appropriate for running broads? This one looks like it wants to be black and have Mr. T. at the wheel! :silly:

Alright, I just can't let it slide ('cause I have an evil streak or something), but Rene made a gigantic faux pas (that's French ain't it?) when he said:

None of you gearheads in SoCal said a word

Rene, my good friend, calling a Camaro a Mustang is like calling a Stelvio a GS or a Jaguar a Mercedes or even a Renault a Citroen:silly:

If I had even the slightest bit of computer savvy, I'd post some pictures of Mustangs and Camaros side-by-side, but I don't so I'll leave that to someone else. Suffice it to say for you nice folks across the big pond that a Camaro, especially a sixties model, is an American icon ranked right up there with baseball, hot dogs, and grits. OK, maybe not grits but you get the picture.

Don't take this the wrong way though, it's really interesting that something like a Camaro is so easily mistaken for something else by many people in other parts of the world.;)

Oh yes, running boards were on some cars about 60 or 70 years ago (except for the VW beetle and a few others), but over here they are now strictly used on vans, trucks, and some SUVs these days. Running broads, however, is a whole different ball game.:S

o yeh the hhr site cut him a new ass

Muley, I stand corrected, but please do quote me correctly everywhere in your post, I called that (here we go...) cage :p a Mustang? B)

Of course it could well be that I've always been misinformed and that every car with that kind of looks that I though Mustangs are/were in fact Camaros. Would it help if I admitted that I do like American Graffiti (the movie, that is)? ;)

I hope this works. I've been trying to post a picture on this forum forever. If you don't see anything, then just imagine a '65 Mustang of the Shelby 350 GT variety, white with blue racing stripe. You can see that in your mind's eye - right ?:)
