Kansas county fair circuit - flat track racing

The Kansas fair circuit has been around for over a hundred years, which is amazing enough. There are 105 counties in Kansas--and each of them has a fair once a year. Not all of them have a track, but many of them do. Over the years, the flat track races during the summer months at the county fairgrounds have been an important training and testing ground for many of the nation's best riders from all over the country. Dick Mann used to be a regular. It may not be what it once was, but you can still find races most every weekend in some part of the state.
