Knocking from Rear End

Good Morning All,

I'm hoping I can get some advise on how to replicate a knocking I have just discovered from the rear end on my Stelvio.

I had pulled up out side a shop this morning to get a Breakfast Bap (Lovely by the way) and when leaving I had to drop down a normal sized kerb onto the road. I went very steady and dropped down and when the rear end left the Kerb and met the road there was quite a loud clunk. I have tried to replicate this on the road and have only heard it once more when I hit a pot hole in such a way that the rear end crashed into it rather than the suspension doing the work. I can stand up and bounce the front and rear suspension and all is smooth and responsive with no noises, this clunk only seems to be when there is a shock coming upwards from the floor. This is making me feel like it could be something to do with the CARC brace or swing arm but like I said I cannot replicate the noise with the bike on the centre stand.

Does anyone have any ideas of where to check, it is a pretty hefty noise like big metal coming together almost like when you take the play out of the shaft, but this is related to suspension shock or travel I don't feel its related to the rear shock or spring and it sounds like its coming from the rear wheel area.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No all I did was try and replicate the knock on the road and then placed it on the centre stand and checked the rear wheel. Im at work at the moment but can go down and take a look, do you mean the bushings on either end?

Found the issue and fixed it thanks for the suggestions. Noticed that the bracket holding on my hugger on the rear that bolts to the CARC had sheared. Thus every hard bump the hugger was coming down and hitting the shaft with the broken bit of metal . Welded the bracket and all good! False alarm!
