Neither have I on that specific brand. But I used soft saddlebags back in the days; they used to last for a season or two, were flapping at speed and wasn't waterproof without a ridiculous plastic cover.
There might be better qualities to find, though. I know that the Oertliebs are waterproof for real. Which is a highly recommended property...

How well did the standard mounts work for you with those Mutazu bags? Did you consider the hard bad supports or did the stuff that came with it work well enough?

Sorry late for the responce. The brackets that I got were bend modifies by my son  There are threaded holes in the brackets so the bags mount very solid. They have been on about a year and no problems.

Not as smart as the hard luggage perhaps but these Moto Detail ones from Get Geared are easily detachable and work well if you don't need them on the bike all the time.

Can't recall who made it, I do remember buying it years ago but never getting around to actually using it. I tried it just that once but after about 50 miles I'd had enough and it went over a hedge. A genuine pain in the arse. The bags worked well though and came with a matching roll bag which proved a bit too large to be comfortable. It looks like I took too much stuff for a couple of weeks away, but sometimes in summer we get all 4 seasons in one day over here! That little strap on rack pack is made by Held and is brilliant for most day trips though, just enough room for some waterproofs, a lock and other essentials.

I have been using a sheep skin pad and it is not bad. but need to get the seat re-done, even the cafe seat can be a pain in the butt after 100 miles.

People don't know what great pack mules we have in our V7's. This is my share of my son's load after he broke down on a trip we were on

Thanks for all the pics! You're using the MG luggage rack with those hard bags, right?
