I’m wondering if anyone has successfully switched the stock lamps on the headlight and driving lights (bar lights) with LED bulbs? I have a 2017 California 1400. If so what exact models fit and is it difficult to do? Thanks for any assistance.

I've fitted a Jeep LED headlight to a GRiSO. It was rather tricky to mount, in the end I ditched the existing headlight shell, and mounted it directly. This is different to merely swapping the existing incandescent bulb for a LED one, apparently the LED bulbs do not work successfully in the stock headlight reflector, because the source of light is much larger.

There's plenty of information on the web, but I think you'll be disappointed with the LED bulb with the existing reflector.

Todd can get you some good quality LEDs for your driving lights. This is not a one for one swap. I've come up with a plan to place the drivers under the tank so the lamps will fit into the housing and have adequate room to cool. This will involve modifying the original wiring to the driving lights. While I have a solid plan, I haven't had a chance to get to the project due to work demands. When I do, I'll try to remember to take some photos and write up some notes. I've only found one direct replacement, but it's a passing beam.

Xenon kit 35 Watts solve the problem 👍🙂

I actually just went through this exact dilemma after not being able to fit H4 LEDs, I ended up going the 7" Jeep/Harley LED light route. I just posted the thread and has all the details on how I went about it, and what light I used. I have the Audace though, not sure if the headlight unit is the same or not as the california.

It is not the same. I would actually like to know if those two headlights - Cali/Eldo vs Audace - are interchangeable. Anyone swapped Audace headlight on Cali/Eldo?
