Hello...

I expect my 2018 Audace to arrive sometime in the next week or so (don't ask). Is there a kit for relocating the plate from the rear fender to the side, etc, that anyone here has used? Just looking at photos, it's clear that that I'd like to clean-up that rear end.

Any ideas are appreciated. I searched interwebland and a few parts sites but haven't found anything specifically for this bike. Modifying something shouldn't be too hard but I'd prefer plug-n-play...

Thanks!

Coming to my garage soon (2018 stock w/ ~900 miles)!

Here's how I did mine. Generic Harley frame from Dennis Kirk. LEDs were easy to get spliced into the factory wiring.

Dead simple. Mine only needed one bolt. Seems like one of the muffler mounting bolts (or maybe it was one of the rear footpeg bolts) was convenient. It was a 15 minute job (with the wiring as part of that). Good luck with it...

I realize no one wants to bother to read ANYTHING these days; But the paragraphs above along with the (GTM) STORE link are always a good place to start. Sales there help support this website to allow such conversations here. Most all of the products there are hand-built in SoCal. Thanks (in advance) for the support.

Yikes, not sure how shaming helps but I actually DO “read anything”. In fact sorta over detail oriented when it comes to rules etc. When it comes to forums, ease of navigation can help but IIRC. I searched and didn’t find anything. Probably because I used “Audace” in the search term.

I can certainly relate to being annoyed by fly-by posts in other forums in which I participate (for over 15 years) where people pop-in wanting to grab info without trying themselves. That’s not me.

Isn’t the idea in these communities to interact and build the community? Sorry to post when I just wanted to jump-in.

Thanks for giving me a heads-up…

I didn’t call you out, so don’t take it personally like people tend to do so often these days too. If you did in fact read the paragraphs above and went to the STORE link above, you didn’t say that. In fact you stated you searched the “interwebland” and didn’t find anything.
My post was more of a rebuttal to those who have been here long enough to suggest looking to the STORE first. If you click all products and sort by model, we have pages of products deduced to your bike there.
I gave you the links to what you asked for, and one you didn’t know about I’m guessing.
You’re welcome.

BTW, congrats on the purchase. Hope you’ll add it to the Registry linked below.
