  • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. Been playing with the big LED Floods I bought a few weeks back, trying to decide where to mount them.
I'm using a pair of these . . .
Stem
Standard BMX Stem for 1" Bars (Stelvio Engine Bars are 1" dia).
Cost less than £17 (US$26) for the pair.
There are hundreds of different designs, lengths, angles, clamp arrangements, colours, etc, etc, just do a Google image search for BMX Stem!

I've machined up a couple of adaptors, basically Alloy Tubes with one end 'closed', but for an 8mm hole for the Clamp-Mount Bolt . . .

The Light's Mounting Bracket bolts to it, and it fits in the Stem's Bore. Swivels 360°, and the Stem can be positioned in a few different places on the Engine Bars . . .

Given the amount of abuse that BMX Bikes get, I imagine they'll be strong enough. ;)
