I haven't been on Guzzitech for awhile, but I am seriously considering a V7 and am looking for ideas, suggestions, pictures of upgrades that people really like. For my riding, I am going to want:
- hard luggage such as Hepco Becker.
- some wind protection that doesn't destroy the look of the bike
- heated grips
- a better long distance seat
- Probably suspension upgrades
- what else???

I would appreciate any input, pictures, etc. Also, please direct me to other threads as some or all of this has probably been asked before. thanks!

+1 on the suspension if you weigh more than the 155-170lbs the stock suspension is designed for.

Hi Alan, welcome back. Most of your questions are answered in the main section of this Category.
- I'm a dealer for Hepco now; https://www.guzzitech.com/store/category/body-n-bags/hepco-becker-body-n-bags/
- Define some?
- Grips will be aftermarket, plenty of options
- Seat would be custom
- Suspension; https://www.guzzitech.com/store/category/suspension/?filtering=1&filter_model=77
- Depending on what you're looking for, I recommend mufflers; https://www.guzzitech.com/store/category/exhaust/?filtering=1&filter_model=77 -- and fueling fixes; https://www.guzzitech.com/store/category/fueling/?filtering=1&filter_model=77

Sounds like you want to do some longer distance Touring with it, which our friend @Zinfan here has done on his; https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/gt-rx®-v7-2-2-ss-exhaust-system.13170/ -- he's done most of my mods listed above, and is enjoying the bike. Feel free to reach out to me direct email too; Todd at GuzziTech.com

Thanks everyone for the input so far. Todd, the website looks great since I was here last and you seem to have a bunch of great upgrades.

I do intent to do some touring, potentially long but solo. I know the stock won't cut it. I looked a Zinfans bike. The seat looks like it would work. Anybody know what it is?

I like the 2:2 exhaust! From my research the Hepco Becker setup looks perfect for this bike.

So still looking for windscreen options and seat options. I weigh 162, so I may not need suspension upgrades?

I weigh 175 and the suspension for me is fine. It appears to have soften up smoothed out with miles.
You are right at the upper limit, but you should place a zip tie on the shock shaft and go for a ride and report back. Same with the forks. I suspect you'll find they are using all of the travel. Suspension is the first place to upgrade if you are a "spirited" rider.
