Could anyone please provide a succinct ’idiots guide’ regarding the sequence order ( and how to do it ) connecting my phone and helmet to the Mandello?
(iPhone XR running 16.6)

Distinctly technophobic!

I don't have a helmet system but I got my Iphone working.

The first thing I do is going into the Iphone settings and Bluetooth
Then I go into the bike's configuration setting's (Hold down the right arrow button to get into the configuration screen)
Go to multimedia and then Device pairing
On your phone BT-Router should show up, click on it and when it asks for a code it should be 0000
Once it's connected you can get out of your phones blue tooth and the bikes menu (hit the left button a few times on the bike)

Go into the MIA app on your phone and follow the directions there. You'll need to click on the Circle with 3 dots in the bottom right corner. It'll ask what type of bike you have etc.

If it connects successfully you should see it on your phone. On the bike's display on the right, just above the icon that looks like an AA battery that same Circle with 3 dots should light up.

That's it for the phone. The MIA app has "OK" instructions. Most of the issues with people connecting seem to be an Iphone issue that got fixed in the last update.

Brilliant! Thank you for sharing 👏

I spent some time today trying to get the MIA working again and wound up deleting everything again. What a PITA. If I'd paid for this as an add-on extra I'd be pissed.

I don't have the multimedia option when holding down the right arrow. Trying to pair my phone.

Nice, love the gold wheels, mine came with black. Looking at your bike I don't think you have the "S" version, I can't see the adaptive suspension, yellow rear spring etc, this is why your display only shows 4 and not 6 menu setting, also gold wheels only came with the non S model from what my dealer told me. In my user manual the two you are missing MGCS and Multimedia state "Where Required". I take it that means only on the "S" version.

Exactly, yours is the standard model without the S.
S version has the MIA as standard, but you can equip yours with the MIA if you like.
It’s not expensive, if I’m not mistaken it’s around USD200 to get it.

Well damn. I knew that there was no heated grips or adaptive suspension in the non S model, but I was willing to sacrifice those two because I REALLY wanted the Magma red and gold rims. I think it looks the best. A few reviews I read stated those were the only differences. At this point I should have just gotten a S model and had it painted.

Thanks for the help, looks like I will be buying the MIA, as I just put a headset in my helmet.

The ‘Rosso Magma’ with MIA, heated grips, centre stand etc takes it to the level of the’S’ ( obviously apart from the semi-active suspension)
That’s what I did; it had to be red.

Yup, “S” also has quick shifter and TPS. 2k more, but seems a good value for what’s included. I wanted the Red initially (would look nice next to red Ducati😉), and like the gold wheels as well, but wanted the Ohlins, and I do like the Verde and brown seat combo😁. It’s all good. They’re all nice🙌😁!

I have the Aviazione Navale which comes with heated grips and TPS. Kind of between the standard and the S. I might like the Ohlins though, mine rides pretty stiff. I haven't started adjusting the suspension yet.

Thats going to be the end goal I suppose. I didn't get the S because it was 2k'ish more, I just wanted the red/gold rims. Heated grips and taller heated seat, taller wind screen and now the MIA is coming up. I guess I just assumed, and the reviews I read didn't say the MIA wasn't included, that I could hook up my phone. But now I do wish I had gotten the S and had it painted, shop I got mine from had an S with side bags, should have gotten it.

Thanks for to everyone for the help.

I opted for all the options to bring it up to’S’ specifications apart from the Quickshifter: never had one, never ever thought about needing one- wouldn’t even know how to use one!
