Moto Guzzi Factory Open Weekend 12th - 14th September 2014

Thought I would mention that the Guzzi factory, museum, factory tours, and test rides are available to all MG fans in Mandello del lario Italy on weekend of 12-14th September.
See below taken from a sample press release. My partner Susie and I are going and making a long weekend of it. Unfortunately having to fly to Bergamo (Milan) as not enough time to ride there!

From Friday 12th to Sunday 14th September the Moto Guzzi factory at Mandello del Lario will open up for a schedule of activities including guided visits to the engine and vehicle production lines and the opening of the museum, and the chance to take test rides. Riders will be able to test the whole range: the California 1400, the three interpretations of the V7, the Stelvio 1200 and the Griso. Test riding will be held on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September from 10:00am to 5:30pm with registration opening at 9:30am. From 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday 12th and from 9:30am to 6:00am on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th, the Moto Guzzi Museum will be open to the public. The museum contains more than 150 models; factory bikes, racing bikes, prototypes and engines, accompanied by a collection of photographs and documents. On the motorcycle assembly lines, visitors will be able to follow, step by step, operation by operation, the birth of new Moto Guzzi machines.
