Hello there,
I'm looking for info on the instrument cluster on my V7. I would like to install the motoscope mini + motosign. I'v actually already started and am experiencing some interesting things.

The voltage coming from my turn signal switch is super low and my lights don't turn on. IS that abnormal? My other thought is that the 2 power lines running into the cluster somehow boost this signal? Is this true?

Put a voltmeter on the turn signal wires at the turn signal socket/connectors. Since they are standard 12v bulbs, it should be battery voltage. They are not LED, so if you install LED you'll of course need the proper resistance. Call or email whomever you bought the MotoGadget parts from for support.
Keep us updated on how it works out asI'm sure there will be others doing the same.

The Motogadget came form Germany. I'm using a voltmeter now. I'm getting almost no power from the turn signal switches and unless I am mistaken, all the power should be running through that. Attached is the diagram I am using. I drew the cut line where I severed the wires from the cluster.

Questions:
1. How come there are lines from the battery going into the cluster that are un-switched?
2. Did the cluster contain the flasher unit? I imagine that I will need to install one now.
3. I would thank that it I connected the front and rear left hand signals with the left hand indicator switch wire, my left hand lights should work. Does this seems right from the diagram?

Did your dash fail? By cutting the wires to the dash I think you are just asking for more trouble. Also the stock dash will indicate errors detected from the ECU. At any rate, this schematic may be easier to follow. https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/resources/2013-v7.164/download?version=164

Until you have things sorted, would it not have been better to just parallel the connections to the dash instead of cutting them?

I'll be watching this. I planned on running one of these on mine since date of purchase.

All I can say is you have picked your own poison. Just don't do anything where you can't go back to stock just in case the experiment fails.

I already burned that bridge when I chopped off my rear fender.

Wiring can always be redone.
