Both of my mufflers, especially the right side, have developed annoying rattles when at idle. I'm sure they vibrate and rattle at speed also, but, of course, I can't hear it then. Sitting at a traffic light, it's really noticeable. The baffles were drilled out by the PO, and they used to have a very nice, somewhat louder than normal, Guzzi tone, but after several thousand miles of rough roads last summer, something shook loose.

These are OEM, stock, EV pipes. Does anyone know of a quick fix for this problem ?

Only thing I can think of is replace them. You may be able to buy a used set from someone who has changed theirs, or buy new after market.

Agreed on John's comments above... If you hear a rattle on the OEM pipes, you are hearing the steel "plug" which has broken loose from the few spot/tack welds, and is bouncing off the internals and externals of the muffler. If they were "drilled" then you have the best chance for them to last the longest... or if they were "punched" cold chisel or otherwise, then the duration is much shorter. Not much you can do but replace. Used stock mufflers are pretty plentiful. Check with Mark/Sean at Moto Guzzi Classics in Long Beach.
