Sorry about the link to another bike website, but it's the group that I went with and it makes linking to the images and videos that I took on the bike so much easier:

6 of us went on 5 bikes - just me on a Guzzi, 2 x Yamaha Fazer 600's, a Triumph Tiger 1050 and a VFR 800VTEC (the only bike to have any issues lol!).

Friday 27th August: 290 miles
We left the UK, it rained all the way to our first nights' transit stop at Metz, France.

Saturday 28th August: 180 miles
Next day we rode to Baden-Baden and picked up the infamous B500. Followed this through it’s entire length and then continued through the Black forest to an overnight stop at Waldblick Hotel , Schenkenze.

Sunday 29th August: 190 miles
Rode down the shoreline of Lake Constance and into Austria to Landeck which was to be our base for the next 5 nights. Our hotel was the Enzian, a four star bikers hotel. Cost is dependant on what room you book but is approx €70 per person per night on a half board basis.

The hotel is highly recommended. Set up for biking, they have a roadbook with suggested routes and stops to do (they even have a resident masseur to relax those aching limbs after a good day's ride). Fantastic food and good prices. You can even do fly/rides with them....BMW's only available I'm afraid....no Guzzi's.

4 days' fantastic riding was had - see the link for pics and video's. The Stelvio Pass was technical, the Timmelsjoch descent was a biker's delight. Wow.

Friday 3rd September : 400 miles
All good things must end so we headed for home. Autobahn to an overnight stop - the Ibis Hotel, Koblenz.

Saturday 4th September: 250 miles to Calais
Again a motorway day as we finished our journey home, which was another 300 miles for me.

In all 2,455 miles in 8 day's riding (one rest day enforced by bad weather & snow). A trip of a lifetime and the Breva came to life in the Alps and was the perfect bike. It didn't miss a beat for the whole trip and I doubt there was a better bike to do it on.

Hope you enjoy the linked pics and videos.

PS. Make sure you watch Timmelsjoch Descent Part 1 & 2 ;)
