Had my V7 near 3 weeks and it is the best all-round commuter I ever had. It handles and rides very postive with a docile smooth power band that is not wanting for performance. At 57 it is all I need and on my 25mile highway comute to work its a pleasure to ride. ciao!

Welcome to the V7C family :D Have 4000 miles on mine and this old coot smiles at every mile :woohoo:

Congratulations ! Your V7C is the 1st black one I have seen other than some ads. Looks really nice. I'm picking mine up 1st thing monday morning. Really looking forward to riding that sweet heart home. Keep us posted on how the bike works for you. Max

Congrats to you as well! :D Did you get a black one also? So my opinion about the color for what it's worth,I actually prefer the white color- it is rich and deep and absolutly gorgeous. I chose the black because i think that it showcases the bike and ties it together better-it just looks better to me as a whole . I have about 200 miles on mine at this moment... I'm smiling ear to ear all the time.On my other bikes i've listened to headphones when riding(not loud- no lectures please)- with this one i just want to listen to the bike- it sounds great without being loud.I think i've worn the tires in enough to start really riding it, so i will post more soon.

Hello Max took mine in for 1st. service 6-7-10 and hope to pick her up Thurday. Good luck and enjoy.

Congrats guys (EDIT, ER UH and GALS)! Love to see more pictures! I think it was asked what the purpose of the Registry is; To show the location of each bike throughout the World and to keep a record of the VIN for the years to come. Aren't you curious to see where the bikes are in 20+ years?

Ok, you never know why people want info now days!I will register "dino".By the way- I'm a woman, yeah i know it is so typical, a girl riding a girls bike(i'm not a beginner though..)!But damn is it a great girls bike or what?

Well, I picked up my new V7C monday morning. I have about 200 miles on it now. This bike is so much fun to ride . I really like the engine's broad power band. It takes the bike right up to highway speeds without having to rev the engine during break in. Plenty of torque to allow short shifting. To me the gear ratios" are perfect. The gearbox doesn't have to be kept busy to allow the engine to feel comfortable. The ratios' seem to be be very well matched to the torque curve of the engine. The shaft drive is so smooth it is basically seamless in my opinion. The light weight and low center of gravity make the bike very easy to ride and move around in the garage and parking lot for "older short folks " like me. I decided on the pearl white as opposed to jet black. It just rang my chimes I guess. That worked out well because my dealer couldn't find a black one anyway. This bike is just so much fun to ride and has so much personality that I really hate tucking it away for the night. So far I have had 3 people ask me how I was able to restore the bike to such perfection. It was so tempting to just go along with that opportunity and run with it. :D But, I behaved for a change.
Just a quick note regarding my purchasing experience. Even though my bike was ready to be picked up on a saturday, I could not catch a ride to the dealership that day or the following monday. The sales manager --Steve Foote--- actually insisted that he pick me up at my home on his way to work so I could ride my new bike home that day ! He does not live nearby, he drove way out of his way to do this kind gesture. How many times has this happened to any of us ? Never, in my case. This is the 3rd bike I have purchased from this dealer and won't be the last. The mechanics have the same attitude, and are always friendly and very helpful. The dealer is -All Seasons - They are located in Wooster, Ohio. I highly recomend you give them a try for your next purchase. Can't wait to put more miles on this sweet bike! Max

That's a beautiful bike and you made the right choice! I've had many happy miles on mine.

Chris

I've got "Dino" over 400 miles now, I just cannot believe how happy i am with this bike! Quite a lot of my miles are commuting to and from work- what a great way to begin and end my day! I'm not saying that this will be the perfect bike for everyone , but Moto Guzzi hit it right on the head for me! I've been through 3 BMW's( F650, R11150R,R1100GS),a Ducati monster 750,a Ninja 650r and a MG V11 scura( now my husbands favorite bike). The V7 is smooth, powerful without tearing my arms off, comfortable, beautiful and it sounds great right from the factory.I am having a good time accessorizing it too

HI Max same bike and same dealer. Very happy with my V7 near 2000miles and no oil loss.

Sweet bike Max. I have a Nevada 750 and just love it. Like you said it's smooth and comfortable and has plenty of grunt for me. I had Todd make some pipes for it and it sounds as good as it looks. My bike is named Geppetto. :D

I now have 5300 miles on my V7C, and I try to get some sort of a ride in everyday :D Just put Todd's sump extender on and a set of 1 inch bar risers, which have made my riding position much more comfortable to the point I hate to come home :woohoo: Have removed the charcoal canister, and the Stucchi cross over pipe goes on this week :D

Glad you are getting so many miles on your V7C. What brand of risers did you install and did you have any problems rerouting the cables? A one inch rise is about what I need to take some of the pressure off me old joints. I'm ordering the sump next week. max

I have the GenMar Universal Risers for 7/8 bars, 1 inch rise, Black Anodized Finish. Got them from California Sport Touring. $65.96.plus shipping. Good company to deal with, came within 4 days of initial order.

Did not have to re-route any wires and it took me less than 10 minutes to install :woohoo: Cross over pipe now installed and it is like having a new bike :D

Bill
