Mysterious auto-baffle in the mistral can :(

Dears,

strange Gremlin lives in my bike since some weeks. I run Mistral carbon can on a rather stock 12S (stepper manually plugged, no schnorkel). This season I started de-baffled and on some day my exhaust sound disappeared almost completely. I rode as usual, and suddenly the sound got so quiet, I almost did not know if motor is still running or not :shock: . Blipped in neutral - runs... no change in power or any behavior, just quiet over all rev-range. did try to blow more revs - nothing helped, after short idle sound abruptly came back.
When quiet - it produced light whispering by-sound as if something is blocking the exhaust pipe..
Next couple of rides - no prob. Added baffle. On later run - it came back, the Gremlin :blink: . Also went away only after longer idling.
WTF is this? any ideas? some glass-wool filling of the pipe moves around? looked into the pipe - clear tube up to the corner in the Y-pipe, no visible obstacles.
Should I be worried?
Can anything be suck-back into cylinders on a back-wave?

anyone had anything similar?
