Hey! Wanted to introduce myself after being a long time lurker and having recently pulled the trigger on a new Stelvio from Moto Nexus in Hendersonville. I currently live near Morganton, NC, not far from the BRP. I have been riding for 40 some odd years and have enjoyed a wide range of motorcycles. I currently have a BMW R1200R and the Stelvio. Thanks to you all for the informative posts and I hope to meet a few of you at one of the numerous "rides" held in our beautiful region.

Cheers
Bob

Fall is here! Photo of my beauty at exactly 1000 miles. My friend was with me on his new Spyder, they're a hoot to ride too!

Welcome to the Forum Bob, and congrats on the Stelvio! There are many here from your neck of the woods, though mostly quiet it seems. I grew up riding in your area, and if it wasn't for the weather/Seasons, perhaps I'd still be there. Enjoy the big 'S', and post often!

Thanks. Living and riding here is a blessing. I rode a loop on 276 and 215 around the BRP today enjoying the perfect Fall riding weather. It's one of my favorite areas and I look forward to meeting "y'all" at next years Guzzi's in the Blue Ridge. BTW, addictive is an understatement  I have to watch my speed on this thing like nothing else I've ridden, the frickin motor is going to get me in soooooo much trouble!

Cheers and safe travels.

Bob

Welcome to the forum. I noticed the other week that the Red Stelvio was missing from the floor  I live only 5 minutes away form Moto-Nexus. I am in Dana, just outside Hendersonville NC. :D

I'm sure I'll get a chance to meet you some day as I ride up your way regularly. I'm glad I'm not too close to the shop, I couldn't afford it  I am having a blast on this bike and even with the month from Hell since I got her, I managed to ride appx 1300 miles on our mountain roads. From the twisties of 80 and 215 to cruising on I-40 at at an indicated 115+ MPH, this thing ROCKS!, and my old joints love the comfort she provides.

Cheers
