Bike's just had its 4000 mile service and all running great. Had it out yesterday, did about 30 miles, pulled into the pub and when I went to start her up again - nothing.
Ignition key was sending the gauges through the normal "needle flick and all lights on" routine but after flashing on the neutral light was going straight off again. I went to find neutral and it wouldn't select, no green light and starter was doing nothing (kill switch not engaged). After about 10 minutes of playing with the gear selector with no joy was about to call the recovery truck when I gave it one more go and on came the neutral light and it fired it straight away???
It felt like a wire problem but it wasn't actually engaging neutral, I was rolling it forward and it was still in gear after trying the half click up dozens of times over.
Seems to be running fine again now - any suggestions for what gremlin that was?
