New crossover fo the Breva

I am sure you have thought about this when designing it, but I am wondering if putting the O2 sensor in the LHS pipe as opposed to after the two join together and therefore ignoring the exhaust gas O2 concentration form the RH cylinder will have any effect?

Thats just what i was thinking, its a nice piece of work though!
my crap old "that will fall apart" english crossover is going strong with absolutely no problems, and thousands of miles under its belt :p

After a test fit tomorrow, and some dyno time, we shall see how all falls into place. Mike/Graham, I can assure you that the fuel tables are the same R to L.
Edit: The bung was relocated due to interference with the starter and trans/gearbox.

This, as well as the upcoming Norge & Stelvio mufflers will be available for purchase any time on the main page of GuzziTech for now, under the Store category.

Xenarchi. Thanks for the loan of the stock crossover. I'll get this back to you once I get the pattern finalized. Just want to hang on to it a little longer.

I don't think I need it. Much rather it clutter your garage than mine. ;)

Looks GREAT to me, a quality piece, I want one, but can I afford one now Sterling is worthless? Never mind, we'are printing more banana republic pounds as we speak Thanks Gordon Brown for the exhange rate.

Prob looking at 1.3500 GBP if you are lucky. That leaves you just shy of about 300 quid without shipping. FYI GBP is heading to 1.2000 if things don't sharpen up over there. :S

Ok I have a Breva parked in the garage.
Yeah, after 3+ hours in L.A. traffic to get it there. ;)
We discussed some revisions to the Y-pipe, which will be done this weekend, as test fitted. We're planning on a muffler as well.

I got one inquiry on a right side, any other interest?

The spots will come off, you just have to try really hard. I've done the deed a few times, then got fed up with the effort and have simply left them spotty and UGLY. :S

As far as install goes, dropping the starter might help with the 02 sensor. It is quite fiddly.

I saw xenarchi pics of his crossover on the web. didn't think all those springs looked good from the side and the pipes from the xover up to the header joint didn't look as good stainless steel quality an the orginals. I'm thinking I might go cheap and just do the silencer for now given the orginal xcrossover mutes the engine I could probabaly get away with a cheaper race can.

Sounds good to me, Price. I ceramic coated my Kiwi Breva matt black (it does look good, ask for pix if you're interested). But my USA Breva has a huge case of the liver spots. Does buffering really clean thse up?[/quote]

I got mine off with a Dremel felt buff and autosol. Tedious job and they come back way too quickly.

I have been planning to ask Staintune if they do a full set of headers for the Norge, when I do I will report back on pricing.

Great job on the Xover. Wish it was done before I purchased the Mistral (on the right). It was a great improvement over stock and this one looks even better as far as air flow goes.
Excellent

Gosh! Even a plumber wouldn't make anything like that Mistral, and exhaust gasses are moving a lot faster than water! Amazing.

Graham

I agree with Graham.

I really should get round to replacing to stock crossover on my breva.
