Just got it firing!
Hello all! Just found this site and am really just looking for some honest straightforward help.
I am a proud second owner of a 1970 MG Ambassador V750. It hasn’t ran since 1996 and came in some-assembly required condition. This is my first bike in over 30 years, so I’ll admit I’m real crusty in my knowledge of what I have before me. I like the pantina on my bike and would like to just get it going. Everyone whom I’ve spoken with in regards to the bike thinks I should go for a full restoration. That’d be nice but it’s not in my budget. To get it going and just ride it across town for coffee on Sunday morning is what I’d like to do with it for starters. And maybe eventually a ride upstate or to the Grand Canyon. Ok, I glad to have found this site and hope to just get some good suggestions and solid support in getting my bike on the road where it belongs.
