New Guzzi Dealer in Vancouver

While I don't mind driving out to Valley Yamaha in Chilliwack for servicing, there is no public transit back into Vancouver (nor loaner bikes), making longer fixes a day-long stay in a light industrial district.

One of the local BMW dealerships, Pacific, has just started carrying some Guzzi models and is sending at least one of their mechanics away for training. I've dealt with them before with my (recently sold) R1200S, and had nothing but a good experience. It's far more exposure for the brand than the "other" shop here in town. One which unsurprisingly has very little Guzzi stock left on the floor.

So, MI in Seattle, VY in Chilliwack and a new local dealer too. Not bad.

I'm on the hunt for a older Guzzi now, Loop or Tonti, if anybody has leads on a "running" unit up for sale.

Some people look at me askew when I say I'm replacing my BMW R1200S with something like an Eldorado. But you all understand :D .

Pacific Yamaha has over the years been a stable dealer to deal with. I know there have been some teething issues after the passing of the previous owner. Yes the increased exposure for the Marque should do well as they all ready have the shaft driven twin market there. Perhaps Guzzi will be a bit more favorable in sales over the beemer with its proprietary maintenance the BMW needs. The shop has allways been good to me over the years..... All the best to them.

Oh and yes I fully understand.
