Nice pair John, congrats. Welcome.

a Welcome Guzzibob,How do you like the Norge??? I am thinking of getting one for two up highway and keeping the V7 for around town. I like the Norge better than the Honda1300 sport tour and BMW 1200rt. The V7 is a class act and sounds great!!

I am very happy with my '07 Norge, esp for long distance stuff. But then I also still very much enjoy my T3 & 1000S, each for different reasons, & ride them all pretty much on a rotating basis-though like I said, reserving the Norge for the long distance stuff-mostly because it is so very much newer than the T3, & so much more comfortable than the 1000S.

My T-3 that is pictured started out life as a police bike. I bought it in 1989 with 32K miles for $600 in stripped police condition and rode it 90 miles home. Spent a years redoing it, mostly cosmetics, but replaced all bearings, cables and a few other small things. At around 70K it started smoking out the left side, bad chrome. Had the engine rebuilt with a 1,000cc nikisel (however you spell it) kit, V-7 sport cam, 36 mm dels., and a port and polish job. Has 102K on it now and runs very nicely for a 35 year old bike.
What can I say about the Norge 8V, it appears that it is going to be a great bike. The only thing I want changed is a larger windscreen, Cal Science is working on that. This last Saturday I ran it up to 140 indicated on a private runway. It was still pulling some but I ran out of room and that was with sidebags and the trunk on along with the windscreen set in the high position. It felt just as solid at the 140 as it does at 60.
