Here's my story: I have a Triumph Street Triple that feels like an extension of my body when I ride it. When I put the wife on it it feels like I'm carrying her on my shoulders so I was in market for another bike. Was traveling to dealer to sign papers on a Triumph Thunderbird Commander when I stopped by a local boutique dealer to waste some time until the Triumph dealer opened. That's when I saw the Eldorado. Bip, bam, boom now I'm looking to buy one. The dealer had a 2016 unit with bags, Agostini exhaust, fog, heated grips, windshield and engine guards for $14,999.00 (Demo with 451 miles). There's another one in North Carolina for just over $11,500 with none of the options. I don't like the leather bags so that's a problem as I know they are approx. $2,000 and the dealer wants to recoup his/her cost. I can have the one in NC shipped for $658.00 and add the options I like. My hesitation is that I really would like to support a local dealer but $3,500 is significant change for me.
