Just got it firing!
Hi everyone, I just bought a 2014 griso with 1500 miles. I love it so far but it turns out it is leaking oil out the left (when you're riding it) side cylinder head. It isn't coming from the valve cover. It is originating lower, almost like it's coming from the screw on the side if the cylinder or the hole located next to it. What is the puropur of the screw and the hole? Drainage? Should I seal them?
(Seal pic below, Allen head screw on the left, "hole" on the right) the oil flows rearward and accumulates near the intake manifold, priproba because the fins are sloped and the air flowing past moves it backwards.
I didn't know about the oil leak when I bought it, and it has ruined a pair of pants by having oil fall all over my leg when riding, so I'm looking to fix this quick. Hopefully it isn't too complicated.
Thanks!
