I just got my first Guzzi after having owned a number of UJMs and Japanese cruisers (not to mention a Genuine Stella, which is a Vespa PX-150 clone made in India by LML). From the reading I've done so far, it seems folks group the bikes by frame designer. I have a 1987 Le Mans 1000 (aka Le Mans IV?) but I'm not sure if it's a Tonti or a Spine (I've concluded it's not a Loop frame as those seemed to have ceased around 1971).

Can someone please fill me in?

The reason is I need to post on the tech forum to see if anyone knows where I might get a center stand as mine had the lever break off. I've contacted a number of dealers and other folks but no one seems to have one. I suspect that the center stand is probably common regardless of the model with some variation. If anyone knows, that would help.

thanks,
Greg

It's a Tonti ;)
Rather than go to the truoble of fitting a new stand why don't you just weld a new lever on
You better visit the pic thread and leave a contribution as well :woohoo:

Any dealer should be able to order the center stand. Did they just tell you they don't have one in stock ,or that it is no longer available? That stand was used on the Mk IV and MK V LeMans.
