Seems like a question for a dealer who has changed inner plugs on Norge. Per prior posts here & PDF of Norge Service manual which I have downloaded, it's NGK PMR8B, which can be obtained form a couple of places on line for about $14.00. So call my friendly local dealer where I bought mine & he says per his parts manual, it's PNR8B-$$32 each (I think) from Piaggio, thats what he has to put in-though I think my inner plugs would likely be the first he has ever changed/installed. I go to MPH where they have their parts manual for Norge on line, sure enough it's PNR8B. However, go to NGK.com-not exactly the manufacturer but some outfit that specializes in hard to find NGK plugs, & they show & have the "M", but no such thing as the N. The NGK USA site only shows the much more common outer plugs in their app part, for 1100 motor. Anybody like Todd Haven or Greg Field or Pete Roper or Speaker ordered these things-or pulled them out of a Norge, know for sure-& maybe it's a typo, really N-or did Piaggio maybe change specs, M is slightly different? My owner's manual says "M"- but I suppose it couldda changed-maybe.....

Re:Norge 1200 Sparl Plugs

Bob,

I bought mine at www.rockauto.com, but had to buy them in a set of four. If the porcelean on one of the original plugs hadn't broken when it was removed I wouldn't have bothered replacing them because they looked perfect. Anti-seize is the only reason to pull them out in my opinion.
I pulled the entire airbox to get them out because it seemed easier in the long run. Hardest part was getting the snorkels on the throttle bodies and that was accomplished with some WD40. KY Jelly might work in a pinch.

Bob

I have the very expensive socket to fit these inner plugs with me here in L.A. Unless you have other resources, call me if you need to borrow it. I would be interested in replacing my inner plugs too before the National.

Re:Norge 1200 Sparl Plugs

Thanks one & all. Confirmed by Todd Haven of MPH, PMR8B is correct, PNR8B a typo in the Guzzi on line parts manual. Besides Maserati & Guzzi usage, also used in Ferrari 3.6 & 4.3 V-8's, & 6.0 V12. Interesting company.
