Has anyone had success in repairing the locating tabs on a Norge top box. These 2 tabs locate into the top box support bracket at the front of the bracket. I tried superglue but this didn't work and we nearly lost the box for a second time.

Mines has been broken for a while, I just bolt it from inside bottom with two M6 bolts, into the threaded holes on the base. Takes 5 minutes if you want to take it off, and I know it won't go anywhere.

There may be the possibility of scratching something in the case, just keep that in mind. Or just put a rubber flap or carpeting over the bolt heads.

Thanks for the tip I just checked out the base and found the threaded holes you referred too, looks like a great solutions will try it and let you know how i go.

I successfully completed a repair of my top box which retains the original ability to quickly remove the box, and in fact creates a more secure attachment than the original setup. If there is interest, I will post the method and photos.
