Norge CalSci Windscreen

Welcome James.
I am also James and have a 2012 Bianca Perla Norge. The Beemer is very cool.
Do yourself a favour and get a larger California Scientific windshield.
I second this. They are good wind screens.

I'll third this. I have had 3 Norges (2 2007 and one 2012) and all had the Pacific Scientific screens installed.

Do any of you guys have that hole in the Cal Sci shields? I had one like that and I absolutely hated it. In rain, it literally threw water at me the whole time. Terrible design.

Yes, I think they all do. It's there to relieve the low pressure area behind the windshield. I never had a problem with rain but I don't ride in the rain if I can help it.

Mine does which I thought was going to be an issue in the rain, turns out to not be an issue. I can’t explain it, but I like it. My Stelvio is so much quieter and pleasant to ride now.

I’m truly amazed. Even my best friend, his BMW K1600GT we bought used, had that same Cal Sci large windshield with the hole. He found out the exact same thing I did in the rain on one of our trips. It just spit the rain water all through it and all over him.

Go figure…
