Hi Guys fantastic site I was stumbling around the internet when i came across it and signed up to join, I have a '07 Norge GTL with 8500 km on the clock and the the warranty has just run out so I will be doing my own services as they start at AU$400 because of the valve gear needs looking at every service interval. with the info you have in the forums and tech areas I have no doubt I will be able to acheive this.... I knew nothing about the dodgey fuel filter setup nor that it was found inside the tank itself, I have just started to get issues with the fluctuating revs and then dropping of on idle, I also need some info on the diagnostic CD available and if anyone has any knowledge on an aftermarket workshop manual either on CD or downloadable off the net???? once again great site thank you, Warren.

Oh, just noticed you're in Cairns - bit far for the cable to reach I'm afraid.

Lotsa tech heads here to help - just ask!

Mike thanks for the offer, but I think it a good idea to have my own, by the way how often does this need to be done...every service interval? if thats the case then it should pay for it's self as these bastards up here charge the world for servicing. that and a workshop manual and a couple of spare hours... couldn't believe the work involved in a oil/air filter change out.

TPS reset should be done at every service. Services are fairly straight forward and well within anyone's capabilities who is remotely handy with some tools.

The VDSTS software will certainly pay for itself on no time, but to be fair to the shops they ahve to buy an Axone and now Navigator computer at ridiculous prices and re-couping that plus wages overheads and profit is probably a difficult task on a Guzzi.
