Uh Oh, Looks like feelings were hurt, profile is gone, I was going to question if he had the head off or not, if not there is no need to re torque it.

No the head is on just checking the value after my fist service as per the manual
just a simple question really i see two values and not sure which to use
Whos profile are you talking about i am here not going any where
On my Cali it is 40-42 Nm which seem right just trying to make sure i do the first service correctly
I dont want to get in a pissing match thought it was a straight up question

Don't touch it. It is an error in the manual. The metal gaskets do not need to be torqued once installed at the factory.

Ok, When clicking on your forum name it tells me the profile doesn't exit any more ???? So my error for assuming you left please forgive ! The Manual is WRONG all big block Guzzis have the metal based head gaskets and DO NOT required re-torquing at or after the first service interval.

Thank you much appreciated
I know you probably hear that question a thousand times
So again thanks now i can put her back and go ride it and enjoy that sound
That is odd about my profile .
No hard fellings

Also, for if you do ever have the heads off, there are two torque settings for the heads on the twin plugged models and they are not set soley on torque. You need to use a radial torque guage. There is an initial torque done by force/distance (22ft/lbs?) and then the 4 nuts on the longer rocker support studs go 90*+90* and the two inner and outer bolts just go +90.

Pete,

The Norge manual states an initial torque of 15 NM, which is much less that 22 lb-ft. It is half that, 11 lb-ft.
