I am wondering if anyone can speak to the differences and/or similarities between the following lowered seats? I am curious as to which one gives the most foot drop and which is the most comfortable compared to stock. I am trying to decide which seat I will purchase for my wife's Norge. She finds the stock seat extremely comfortable and I am concerned that the lowered seat will be extremely uncomfortable for her.

Moto Guzzi 977692
Moto Guzzi 977713
Stucchi Luigi MG050030 (MGCycle part number)

These are the ones I have found and that I am interested in. What other options are available?

I have the Moto Guzzi gel seat. It is lower than the stock seat and I find it more comfortable than the stock seat.

I too have the Guzzi "lower"/gel seat on my Norge. I found it to be only slightly lower, but way more long distance comfortable than stock, which wasn't bad to begin with. However, must admit that all my riding is solo, so can't specifically address differences from passenger viewpoint. Only down side to lower seat is that left in the hot sun the gel seat sure does absorb a lot of heat. Leaving a helmet or jacket or whatever on the seat solves that minor problem. And actually, having my shoe guy build up the bottom of my riding boots with a spacer between boot uppers and heel/sole, in effect making me 1/4 "taller," actually made more of a difference in reaching the ground than the seat did. Well worth it, and needs to be done only once-you just resole/heel over the spacer again & again. Assuming your riding boots are re-soleable. course.

I agree the lower gel seat is more comfortable, but as far as I can tell the rear half is the same, so passenger comfort will be the same.
I was surprised how little difference there seemed to be in the height. I do have slightly lower footpegs (ex Goldwing).
