Looking to know what oil filter tool I need to remove oil filter on 1100 Breva?

Also the same as my Mercedes GLK350.
Filter is recessed in the oil pan. No way to get a belt on it.I have used an old belt in the past, if you have enough room thread the end through the buckle put it round the filter and pull back against the buckle.
It does fit, at least the one I have. I used it on a friends bike when he over tightened the filter."One of those" doesn't fit, the filter is just too close to the sump to get it in.
Buy a tool with the correct number of flutes (there's loads on ebay) then degrease the filter. Use a rag soaked in petrol to clean it up, the surface will end up "drier" than using some other degreasers and less likely to slip. Finally, give the tool a tap with a mallet to make sure it is fully seated .......then keep your fingers crossed.
Wouldn't surprise me. Different manufactures. Then be careful. Mine has legs that are too fat so there must be a variety of sizes out there.
