I have been using P.C Racing Flo serviceable oil filters on My Harleys for a couple of years and thinking about trying one on my Stelvio. I like the ideal of checking what the filter is catching when I do oil changes. Are any of you using that type filter on your Moto Guzzi or have an opinion about them?

I'm using a Mobil 1 M1-102 filter and getting the oil analyzed by Blackstone Labs. Similar idea, I want to see what is happening in the oil as the miles increase.

Can you actually see particles in your Harleys' filters? I'd be more concerned about non-visible stuff in the oil, hence why I'm going the analysis route.

Two oil changes so far, no concerning results but not enough data to post yet.

I have done around 10 oil changes since I started using Flo Filters and so far I haven't seen any metal in the filter when I clean it, and that is a good thing. There are several articles on about them if you Google Flo oil filters.
I have almost 100,000 miles on my Harley and I think I will send a sample of oil to Blackstone the oil change.
