Anyway, take care of the wife, because until her hand's heel up she won't be able to ride much, and I get a feeling you won't either. Take care you two, Bobber Bill out.

Re:First Sunday of the month @ Rock Store

Bad timing. You riding Sunday?

Re:First Sunday of the month @ Rock Store

You know I have a bit of a thing for red heads.

So, if you guys meet at StarCrack at 8:30, will you ride Stunt to Piuma? If so, ping/text my cell when you leave StarC, and I may and try to catch you as you go by. Heads-up though: The Malibu Canyon side of Piuma has been very mucky and wet this week.

See you guys in the ayem either way.

Re:First Sunday of the month @ Rock Store

Nice seeing and riding with some of you moto-miscreants! Sorry we didn't see Todd. Had a time constraint today.

Kevin

Re:First Sunday of the month @ Rock Store

Good to see you Kev, I ran into todd at the RS when don ditched me..... something about his ballet audition... good ride with great folks

Re:First Sunday of the month @ Rock Store

Yeah, Kev, et al, sorry I missed you guys too... apparently you pulled out just ahead of me pulling in. I got to hang for a few hours there (anyway) and chat with 220, and a few other (non-Guzzi) friends.

Also got to chat with Jon on his stop back through, and Don, you passed within 10' of me when you went back by.

Man was it a cold morning, and I even slid on some ice on the way down Piuma. My feet are finally warming up again. Fun, fun.

Chuck, hope you had a fun last hoorah before heading back to the true cold.

We're having a house-warming/Guzzi-Q party next weekend... will be posting details here soon.

Re:First Sunday of the month @ Rock Store

Re:First Sunday of the month @ Rock Store

Chuck had to bail back to answer the help desk calls, them Indian's work weird hours.... he also seems to have an affinitiy for slurpies...... I suspect Chuck is not his real name, but it works for now....
(chuck, in case you missed james conversation, he's decided that you are actually "chuck from india", not indiana, and you likley run a software helpdesk out of india, btw, this email may be monitored for quality control)

Yeah, I saw that. "If you are not happy with your service, i will give you a wow cher for a free case".
Had a great time. I don't have any cool wx gear out here, though, so didn't ride as much as I would have liked. Darth Quota must have decided it was time for me to go home.. started missing on one cylinder under 4500 rpm about 2 miles from home, and died completely 1/2 block from the shed. Guzzis get ya home. Haven't trouble shot it at all, yet.
Take care, you guys..see you the next time around.
Chuck from india

Re:First Sunday of the month @ Rock Store

Chuck,
simple problem, its either electrical, fueling or mechanical.....why is it taking you so long to sort it:lol:

Re:First Sunday of the month @ Rock Store

I *hate* it when electrical problems fix themselves.. When it flamed out I checked battery voltage thinking it was the famous AGM battery sudden failure syndrome. 11.73 volts. Uh oh. Battery's probably ok. Just completely discharged. Hadn't had any generator light. (?) Got the kid's car, jumped it, *turned the lights off* and it started right up. Rode it up the hill, (the reason for not pushing it).. and charged the battery. Started it up, checked voltage..12.6@4000 rpm, thought hmmm..probably the steenkin voltage regulator..* turned the lights on,* and viola! 14 volts.
Acting normally now. Some things aren't meant to be understood, I guess. I'm *assuming* that there was a corroded light switch causing the drain.
