Hi fellow Guzzi enthusiast/lovers.. I've been touring a fair bit on my 2008 stelvio and felt that the fuel capacity is too little for any meaningful mileage . I can get about 260km per tank approximately and even a little more if I ride not above 140 or 150km. However I prefer a bigger capacity tank and I got hold of an old 32 liter tank on eBay . Does anyone know what is involved in the conversion.. Based on the microfiche I know the newer ntx tank has a top mounted fuel pump and maybe there are mods required on the rider seat and of course the fairings. I was wondering whether I could modify the existing fuel pump to fit. Those who have the newer stelvio will probably have a better idea .. I'm trying to use the old stelvio fairing and make it fit the new tank but I might be just being hopeful so as not to spend too much money buying the whole cowl front end. Anyway has anyone in the forum attempted this switch of fuel tank.. Maybe they could shed some light on what's is involved.

No easy way, unless you are into doing custom bodywork yourself. Only a few tabs must be removed from the frame, but a new pump, and the newer bodywork and all related is easiest.
