G'day Boys, Girls and assorted others.

I've been a fan of the GuzziTech site for a while...I even have my Tat up on the tattoo page...but have never stumbled across this here forum.
Those aussie that regular some of the forums down here may have seen my mug pop up on a board or two around the place, my regular drinking hole is 2wheels.

I have, as my sig suggests, 4 bikes. The VFR my trusty everyday, go anywhere bike. A couple of GPZ250 belt drives as I am an absolute sucker for punishment...and if that doesn't prove it, I have a Guzzi MK3...which many find surprising for a 23yo.

The Guzzi, which I assume you lot care more about than my other bundles of joy, has a wee bit of history; it was my late uncles who was taken from us far too soon, not bike related. It then sat under my parent house while we went through all his belongings and culled the useless stuff.
Finally my father and I pulled the bike out to fix the chipped crown and pinion in the diff (thanks to pete roper for that) after a bit of work and fiddling with the carbs the old girl was back alive.
After a saga with good ol' CanberraConnect we got her registered and it was the perfect step-up from my Honda Spada that I had at the time.
The thing I did wrong here was assume the old girl would be as reliable as the Spada, and decided to take her for a trip to Wagga to see my then fience (now wife). 14km out of Wagga there was an almighty knock from the engine along with oil light coming on. The bike has been ran once since.
At this stage I believe it was the oil pump that blew, but I have been busy getting a degree to have the time or money to sort it out.
Eventually I will get my dad, who is now in possession of the bike, to take the boxes of engine bits to pere roper to figure out (apologies in advance).

Other than that, I'm in Dandenong, I try to ride whenever I can, if not I'll be tinkering on the Kwakas.

I'm sure I'll meet some of you on the road sometime.

Welcome Chris! Look forward to your many contributions here, as well as updates on reviving the MK3.

Ride on.

G'day Chris, didn't realise you were a GuzziTech lurker, as I am. It will be a great day when you get the Lemon on the road.

Cheers

G'day Waz, you're one of 2 heads I expected to pop up...wonder if Nero is floating around.

THanks for the welcome GT, I wouldn't be holding your breath for up-dates...but I'll try get some up soon, because that will mean I'm actually doing something LOL.
