I have just purchased the Piaggio Multimedia Platform COD. 606522M
no instructions came with it, the bike shop have no idea about it, I have located the connector under the seat for it and have cabled it up installed the app on my phone but it can not find the media platform in my bluetooth on the phone
has anyone had any success with one of these
I have installed it to my new 2017 cal-1400

To pair with iPhone make sure the ignition key is turned to ON, have iPhone ready in Settings, Bluetooth, wait at least 30-60 seconds, the PMP (Piaggio Multimedia Platform) abbreviation should show up, then press Connect on iPhone.

For later usage off app, first turn on bike's ignition (to power up bluetooth module on PMP), then start the app on iPhone a few seconds after.

I have tried all that, all my other items come up in the list of bluetooth devices but nothing for the pmp
even tried it on another brand of phone in case my Huawei phone was causing the problem but a Samsung wont even detect it
my thoughts are the pmp is not working or the cable on the bike is not working

The bike is due its first 1000 mile service so I will ask the dealer to look at it, if they have no luck then Guzzi can shove it were the sun dont shine.

Thanks for your help
BTW here is a photo of the device and the conection on the bike can you confirm it is the right conection cable on the bike as it is the only one I can find for the type of plug

The connector seems right, I don't have the bike here at the moment, but do remember this type of connection. Only other thing I could think of is to check all fuses are good.
