Just got it firing!
I have a 2011 Griso 8V and there was some plastic that melted onto one of the headers. Must have been a garbage bag or something. Most of it came off when I re-heated it but there is still a perimeter of plastic that won't come off.
Has anyone had this issue and solved it without damage to the pipes? From what I've read on other forums, it sounds like oven cleaner will do the trick, provided I'm careful not to get it on the paint. I know oven cleaner is safe for stainless steel, but I just don't want to disturb that gorgeous 'gold finish'. Has anyone used oven cleaner on Moto Guzzi stainless steel pipes? Thanks
