Cruisin' Guzzisti
My wife's Griso SE had a bit of a low speed stumble this weekend, so I decided to have a look see. I found the plug wire on the right side to have a crack in the metal connector that slides into the coil. Voltage was arcing across from the wire to the coil body pretty badly.
Looking at it, the wire was pretty scorched from the arcing. Since I have to replace the end anyway, I'm thinking of just replacing the wires entirely. I have the SB05E's on the plug ends, so I'll just take them off and put them on the new wires.
The question is, does anyone know what size wire the originals are? I'm hesitant to buy new ones until I know as I'm afraid if too thick, they won't fit under the wire cover.
Does anyone know if anyone actually sells an after market set for the Griso or will I have to make them up myself?
Thanks,
Doug
