Starting some time in March, Pro Italia, which was a long time Guzzi dealer before dropping the line a while ago, is picking it back up. They have also been a Ducati dealer like forever. Got this from our own Glenn Morgan, who was one of the founding owners of Pro Italia way back when, about a billion years ago. They are on Verdugo Rd in Montrose/Glendale, close to the start of Angeles Crest Highway. No doubt Glenn will post more details as it gets closer.

So now we have (or will have) Guzzi dealers in Montrose, Sherman Oaks, Thousand Oaks & Long Beach. Way better than the none we had for a while there. Plus long time independants MG Classics in Long Beach & Cycle Garden in Huntington Beach, & Todd now doing some stuff out of his garage in Malibu. Our Moto Guzzi cup runneth over......

PS to above-Glenn asked that I post that they are looking to have some kind of event celebrating their return to Guzzi, & wanted to know how 1st weekend in March worked for the local Guzzisti. Works for me......

Thanks Bob, don't know if Glenn mentioned it, but I've been working with them to coordinate all of the details, date, times etc. Right now it's looking to be on Sat., March 6th. I'll post more as it gets locked in.

That is great news. It tells me that maybe Piaggio is working out some of the past problems and things are moving forward.

I think I bought the last Guzzi they sold, a 2002 LeMans. Glad they're back in the fold now, and hopefully there won't be any more disappointments for them like when MGNA screwed over most of their dealers by selling their stock for a song to LA and OC OTD Cyclesports. I'd rather deal with PI than anyone else.

This is good to know...

It was at Pro-Italia that I went to in 1997 when I was shopping around for what turned out to be my CX100...

They had it posted on a "For Sale" board there...

hmmmm...

any special honors for first PI Guzzi purchase on March 6th???
That ship may have already sailed. There are a couple of friends who I think have put down deposits on CalVins there.

Mark your calendars now and plan to join us on Thursday March 4th, from 6:30-9:30PM, as we welcome Moto Guzzi back to Pro Italia. We're impressed with their value, innovation and support, and we're planning on having new bikes and vintage bikes on display. More details next week.

This is really excellent news.

I bought my first Guzzi (2002 Le Mans) from them back in the Kelly Baker days.

Seems like forever ago.

It's now Todd's race bike that practically no one has ever seen running.

Yo, Toddski, is it close to operational? Whaddaya mean too busy??

It was forever ago... why do so many like bustin' my balls. ;)

Actually got the worked rear shock back from Stig a few weeks ago, and it's going on my bench after this weekend until completed. I've got a Buttonwillow track day to attend in April. It *will* be ready. You coming?

Todd, when in April is the track day? When I jumped to Veloce, I was redirected to the store and last year's schedule shows. I know my non-Guzzi friends would appreciate knowing.
